Pediatrics 1st has been serving children in Northern VA since 2002. We work with children and teenagers with the following difficulties:

We welcome new clients to our practice. The intake process includes completion of our forms (see Forms page), a speech evaluation (clients with a speech evaluation in the past 3-6 months are exempt) and follow-up consultation (to review the report, discuss therapy goals and frequency of therapy services).
Our speech therapy sessions are conducted in 30 minute, 45 minute, or 1 hour increments. The frequency and duration of therapy services are primarily based on the therapist's recommendations (based on testing, client temperament,etc) and the families availability for services.
Services are primarily held at our office. We will provide home visits only if clients agree in writing to our home services fee and if the treating therapist is available for such visits.
